We are in the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District. A little further afield and you could be visiting the Northmberland historic coast and castles or Beamish outdoor museum. There is so much to do and see withn the vicinity, whatever the weather, that you will have no trouble filling your time. Or of course, you could just sit and relax, walk locally, enjoy the views.... Your choice is endless.
